An anonymous message recently came into the [SSEX BBOX] Tumblr remarking on how “every issue” has “spotlighted white, sexually charged, misfits”. Presumably basing this opinion on the previous photo shoot image for issue #2, they somehow didn’t notice genderqueer porn superstar Jiz Lee in the shot, nor have they yet seen the content of the second issue of [SSEX BBOX] (perhaps including, importantly, the cover), or photoshoot pictures like this one. Rather than detailing the diversity of our staff or [SSEX BBOX]-related content inside or outside the magazine that has reflected divergent racial and cultural experience, we would like our audience to take a close look at what we are covering in our magazine and film, as well as encourage a variety of people across the spectrum of identities and cultures to get involved in [SSEX BBOX]. Our intended audience is global - [SSEX BBOX] is for anyone who wants to explore “sexuality outside of the box”.
